1. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Whisperer handles information when you use whisperer.meme and its Meme Maker, Image Maker, Font Generator, and informational pages. It covers data processed directly in your browser as well as limited information processed by service providers that deliver and measure the site.
Whisperer does not require an account, profile, or payment details.
2. Images and text you provide
Photos selected in the Meme Maker or Image Maker are read by your browser and drawn to an HTML Canvas on your device. Text, positions, colors, fonts, rotations, and effects are also handled in the browser. Whisperer does not upload or store those source photos or editor contents on an application server.
Font Generator input is transformed locally into Unicode characters. Copying or downloading a result is initiated by you through browser features.
Local editor content stays on your device, but ordinary website requests still pass through hosting, font, and analytics providers as described below.
3. Information collected automatically
Whisperer uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic and product usage. Google Analytics may receive information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser information, referral source, session activity, and interaction events. We use this information to maintain the tools and improve content, not to identify the images or text you create.
Cloudflare delivers the site and may process request information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps, and security signals for content delivery, abuse prevention, and reliability. Google Fonts may receive network and device information when font files are requested.
For more information, review how Google uses information from partner sites and the Google Privacy Policy.
5. Google AdSense and advertising cookies
Whisperer does not display Google AdSense ads as of 10 July 2026. If advertising is activated, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to Whisperer or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve personalized ads based on visits to this and other sites.
Users may opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. If other third-party ad vendors or networks are enabled, this policy will identify them or link to their privacy and opt-out information. Users may also visit AboutAds opt-out choices where supported.
Before personalized ads are served to users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Whisperer will use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework where required. The consent interface will provide choices about cookies, local storage, and personal data used for advertising.
7. Retention and security
Whisperer does not retain the photos or editor text processed locally in the tools. Analytics, hosting, and future advertising providers retain data according to their own settings and policies. We use reasonable technical measures and reputable infrastructure providers, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
